Avoid inauspicious colours

Black or white dresses aren’t for weddings. We know you look fab in black but think about the couple too; they don’t want insensitive guests walking around in black bothered about looking good themselves. Be considerate about the people around and wear colours that are soothing to the eye and gives off a good positive vibe. Pinks, blues, cream shades are great so are other hues, as long as it is not black or white. White is still okay for Christian weddings but black is seriously not going to make you look good at all.

Don’t get too casual
Indian weddings are known for nice dresses, the only people dressed casually are people who aren’t invited to the wedding but have to be there for decorations and stuff! Even if you are not a great dresser, don’t turn up shabbily at any wedding. At least throw a nice blazer and a good pair of shoe over your T Shirt and jeans and smell good.
